Details
The Excello bar magnet in steel body with external thread is a high-quality product solely produced by “pure” raw materials. This ensures an always accurate magnetic strength and a solid durability. The neodymium magnet enclosed in this bar magnet provides the excellent magnetic abilities.
The bar magnet is part of the Excello quality series for extra durability and strength.
Thanks to the external thread the bar magnet in steel body is highly suitable for holding and gripping applications. The bar magnet is ideal for projects where there is a risk of small air gaps occurring between magnet and surface (max. 0.2-0.3 mm).
Magnetic strength for the neodymium bar magnet
The neodymium material ensures a magnetic strength up to 1700 newton. The holding force increases with the diameter of the bar magnet. Please see all dimensions, prices and holding forces above.

Remarks
The holding forces have been determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel ( S235JR according to DIN 10 025) with a thickness of 10 mm by pulling the magnet vertically from the surface (1kg~10N). A deviation of -10 % (max.) in the stated values is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value will be exceeded.
