Details
The Distance model within our series of electromagnetic door holders can be characterized by its flexible and multiple application possibilities. Thanks to the movable swivel head the electromagnet can be mounted on both wall or floor.
According to the the fire inspection a fire door needs to be in a held open state to ensure safe and quick passage between buildings and areas. This is the primary function of the electromagnetic door holders. The electromagnet is connected to the existing fire system and if smoke or fire is detected the system will cut off the power to the magnet. The fire doors will close immediately thus ensuring minimal spreading of harzardous smoke to other areas.
Safety for the Distance magnetic fire door retainer
Safety is essential when dealing with magnetic fire door retainers. All our door magnets comply with the European safety regulations. The electromagnets are continuously quality tested to secure the high quality. This Distance model is compliant with safety certificates EN1155 as well as Declarations of Performance.
Product qualities
Our best seller within the Distance model is produced in the dimensions 90x80x(150/175) with a holding force of 400 Newton. Power supply: 24DC / 1,6 W. The electromagnet is built for 100 % duty cycle (ED) meaning that the magnet operates under constant power without affecting the magnetism.
The tube can be shortened according to the desired length and the distance to the wall.
All our electromagnetic door holders has integrated a spring loaded anti-remenance pin which ensures zero residual holding force when the magnet is de-energised. This ensures faster closing of fire door and additional safety.
Accessories
Keeper plate with adjustable angle is included when aqcuiring this model. The keeper plate is used as counter plate and is normally mounted on the door.
