Details
This Excello bar magnet is produced using a strong neodymium magnet to achieve the high magnetic strengths.
A solid brass body surrounds the magnet and an internal thread is mounted to ensure excellent gripping abilities. The neodymium magnet is enclosed in the brass body in which it lays securely protected. The brass body itself also contributes to the overall magnetic force of the bar magnet.
The bar magnet is part of the Excello series which provides certainty regarding the strength, durability and quality of the product.
The bar magnet in brass body is easily recognized by its blue stripe down the middle of the magnet. North and south pole are situated on the same surface thanks to the “sandwich” function. This narrow surface makes the bar magnet ideal for smooth surfaces where there is no air gap between the magnet and the surface.
Magnetic strength of the bar magnet
The bar magnet with brass body reaches a very high magnetic force when using the largest dimensions. At a diameter of D32 a magnetic strength up to 700 newton is possible. The strength depends on the diameter – please see the complete list of dimensions in the product overview and do not hesitate to contact us if a custom-made product is needed.

Remarks
The holding forces have been determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel ( S235JR according to DIN 10 025) with a thickness of 10 mm by pulling the magnet vertically from the surface (1kg~10N). A deviation of -10 % (max.) in the stated values is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value will be exceeded.
