Rubber coated magnets – Cylinder bore
These Protego rubber coated magnets of high quality are developed with cylinder bore. The magnets are primarily used for varnished surfaces or applications where anti-gliss effect is needed.
- Neodymium magnets placed in the rubber ensures great holding force – up to 550 newton
- Quality rubber ensures zero gliding effect even on smooth surfaces
- The rubber and cylinder bore provides optimum fixation possibilities
- Dimension D43 + D88 has bore and counterbore (non-iron screw to be used)
- Galvanized rubber magnet to be used indoors and outdoors
- White rubber can be produced – please contact us for more information
- Max temperature: 60 °C

Rubber magnets with cylinder bore are high-quality magnets for use within the industrial area such as offshore. They are highly suited for delicate surfaces such as vehicles as they do not leave any marks or scratches when in use. Only quality materials are used when producing this type of rubber coated magnet – down to the raw magnet and the soft rubber. This ensures a solid and durable product with a reliable magnetic force.
White rubber is also a possibility. Please contact us for further information.
The rubber coated magnet system is part of our quality series Protego that provides the necessary certainty regarding magnetic force and durability.
Magnetic strength for the rubber coated magnet
The magnetic strength for the rubber coated magnet systems depend on the actual dimension in question. The rubber magnet with cylinder bore can reach a force up to 550 Newton. See the full list of magnetic strength in “Sizes and variants”.
Dimension
This type of rubber coated magnet can be acquired in different dimensions. Normal types are produced from D18 mm – D88 mm. Please contact us if in need of other dimensions or stronger holding force.
Please note, that article number 60201 + 60225 is produced with bore and countersunk. These types are to be used with a non-iron screw. Please ask in our technical department for more information.
Other rubber coated magnet systems
Please also see our Protego rubber magnets with screwed bush, rubber magnets with internal thread and rubber coated magnets with external thread.
Remarks
Apply our rubber magnet systems with caution due to the high magnetic strength.
The holding forces have been determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel (S235JR according to DIN 10 025) with a thickness of 10 mm by pulling the magnet vertically from the surface (1kg~10N). A deviation of -10 % (max.) in the stated values is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value will be exceeded.
