Rectangular rubber coated magnets – 2 magnetic blocks – thread
This rectangular rubber coated magnet with M5 internal thread is produced with two magnetic blocks. It makes the magnet perfect for use in e.g. wind turbine towers or other places where the surface is curved. Thanks to the long pole distance, this magnet is also ideal for applications where there is a distance between magnet and counterpart. It is the perfect magnetic system for offshore due to the extremely hardwearing quality rubber coating that protects the magnet from corrosion.
- Ideal for round towers and other curved surfaces
- Suitable for applications with distance between magnet and counterpart
- Produced with either 1 or 2 internal threads M5
- Slip resistant due to the rubber coating
- Strong magnetism
- *Holding force N1 indicates the holding force at a distance of 6 mm between magnet and counterpart
- The rubber coated magnet is also available with a cylinder bore. Please contact the sales department for more information.

This product is ideal for use in the offshore industry and for other demanding outdoor applications. The rubber coated magnet is often used on surfaces that curve or where there is a distance between the magnet and the counterpart. Use the rubber coated magnet as a holding device for e.g. cable trays within the wind turbine towers, temporary traffic signs etc.
Thanks to the hardwearing rubber, the magnet has a anti-gliss effect when in use, and due to a complete encapsulation, it is also protected against corrosion.
Variations of the rubber magnet
The magnet comes in two different variations in terms of magnetic force. If produced with ferrite magnets, the holding force is much lower than if produced with neodymium magnets. Choose the right type depending on your application. It is also possible to get the magnet with a cylinder bore instead of internal thread. Please contact us for more information.
